Jill Albert (1961 - 2006)

Jill Albert (1961 - 2006)Sadly, after a valiant and painful 3 1/2 year battle with cancer, our dear friend, wife and Mom Jill Albert, passed away.  Jill's "immortality of influence" was extraordinary.  She showed us all how to smile, live, love and when necessary, fight with both tenacity and hope.  By establishing the Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation with her husband Jon, so many other families facing terminal cancer will now be able to accumulate lasting, important memories together.

Her efforts and concern for children who will also lose their Mom or Dad in such a nasty, painful way will reap benefits for years, if not generations, to come.

Jill appreciated that memories become our greatest inheritance.   She urged us all to never stop appreciating our family time together and to never stop dancing.

"When you are diagnosed with late-stage, incurable cancer, you think immediately of your children. You realize the many future memories you looked forward to with your children - the birthday parties, the first crush, learning to drive, graduations, weddings, grandchildren - will not be realized as they were supposed to."

Jill also encouraged us and taught us to never stop smiling.

The Foundation can now be a lasting legacy to Jill's spirit, kindness and generosity to others. Jill did not just impact many, she touched their lives.  Cancer might have struck her down at the age of 45, but please make no mistake, Jill lived a full life.

You have to have lived a full life to touch so many.
