The Jack & Jill Late Stage Cancer Foundation Emerging Leaders Council is comprised of young professionals under the age of 40 who live in the Atlanta area and are committed to the mission of JAJF. The ELC provides opportunities for local professionals to work in conjunction with JAJF to support its goals and programs through event and marketing support.

We are looking for bright, passionate, and fun young professionals to join the 2013 Emerging Leaders Council Committee. Candidates must be in the Atlanta area. There are a numerous opportunities available that support varying aspects of the organization, including social media, marketing, event planning, and fundraising.

JAJF’s Founder and CEO Jon Albert has been warmly and enthusiastically embraced in his new hometown of Sarasota. For Oncologists to now "prescribe" JAJF as part of the treatment protocol for the patient, the spouse and their children… the family together is extraordinary…and humbling. Oncologists have validated the medicinal impact JAJF is having in the immediate term and now longer term 4-6 years later for these families especially the children who are losing their heroes and security blankets at such a vulnerable time.

Sadly, it is just too easy to find young Moms and Dads in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s dying from cancer leaving behind their children (despite advances in cancer research). As the only organization of its kind serving this overlooked population, there is a need to keep fighting the fight; there is also a need to keep fighting for cherished family time for these young parents who just won’t be saved by the next wonder drug or trial.
