Dear Heidi and the rest of the JAJF staff,

We cannot even begin to thank you enough for the great “Wow” experience you provided our family with! We decided to surprise the kids and not tell them about the trip to Arizona. They found out they were doing to the desert at 2:30 in the morning as we were driving to the airport. They definitely were surprised and extremely excited. We felt like royalty right from the get go. Frontier Airlines provided us with a great flight to and from Arizona–their chocolate chip cookies were a nice treat and the TV was an added bonus that we weren’t expecting–really made the flight go by fast for the kids. Budget Car Rental provided a great vehicle that the kids thoroughly enjoyed (they thought the “video” was cool–there was a camera as we backed up that played on the dashboard) It’s the small things that really impress them! Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort was absolutely amazing to us! All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful to us. The kids fell in love with the 2 bedroom suite that the resort provided for us. We were greeted with a welcome basket with snacks & drinks. They provided us with a great cabana each day at the pool–this was wonderful for Jason as it kept him out of the sun yet he was still with the family! The Arizona Diamondbacks hosted us for one of their spring training games. It was so awesome. We toured the facility and then got to be down on the field while they took batting practice. The kids got several autographs and pictures with the players. We will be getting display boxes for their autographed baseballs to keep them safe!

The memories that we made on this trip will be treasured by each of us for years and years. So many little things: Easton falling asleep at the dinner table waiting for his ice cream to come (we had been up for almost 24 hours straight at that point), hiking on the trails and experiencing cacti for the first time & Easton getting poked by one, swimming in the pools, sliding down the water slide, taking in a ball game, getting autographs, and the list could go on and on! It was so great to see all the smiles and hear all the laughs–that’s probably the best part of the whole trip!

Thank you again for blessing our family with this wonderful trip!

Jason, Joslyn, Taylor and Easton
